Unpleasant aftertaste.
The app contains all the resources cooks need, in the how to department. It is indeed a boon to cooks, both novice and professional alike.
What Canadian joy users may not appreciate is that the recipes require weighing of baking ingredients. To save time, you may want to close the app and open your paper version of Joy Of Cooking. It would have been a slamdunk, but something tells me that this was made as one app for the world market.
Were used to weighing baked ingredients for European recipes, and in truth, it isnt any more or less difficult. However, when the paper edition of joy is handy in my kitchen, the temptation is too great to go back to the old ways.
If you like or prefer weighing your baking ingredients, then I would highly recommend this app for you.
